Description
WJAC is hiring a Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering functions of the station, including equipment planning, budgetary recommendations, training and hiring, software and network maintenance, broadcast equipment troubleshooting, transmitter maintenance, and FCC compliance. The role requires at least five years of broadcast electrical systems experience, technician management experience, broadcast and IT systems proficiency, a valid driver's license, flexibility for shift changes, and the ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds. A technical degree in electronics or a related field or equivalent experience is required, while SBE and A+ certifications are preferred.
