The role involves operating and maintaining the tug’s engine room, performing inspections and preventive and corrective maintenance, understanding onboard systems, and managing tools, spare parts, and onboard stock. Candidates must have experience as a Chief Engineer on medium- or large-sized vessels, relevant technical training, compatible CIR and maritime certifications, and NR 35 work-at-heights certification.
