AWS is hiring a Chief Engineer to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment in data centers. The role manages planned preventative maintenance, corrective work, emergency response, facility operations, troubleshooting, safety procedures, vendor support, training, and large-scale projects from conception through completion. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, vendor-management experience, Microsoft Office experience, critical-switching certification, and at least three years of data-center engineering or operations experience.
