Description
AWS is hiring a Chief Engineer to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment in data centers. The role manages planned preventative maintenance, corrective work, emergency response, facility operations, equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, project delivery, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and after-hours support. Candidates should have experience taking design concepts through deployment, knowledge of electrical engineering and critical data-center equipment, and the ability to work in noisy, elevated, and physically demanding environments.
