Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment in an AWS data center. The role manages corrective and emergency work, root-cause analysis, escalations, standard practices, vendor coordination, CMMS workflows, and training of Engineering Operations Technicians. It also leads small-to-medium projects focused on reliability, innovation, and operational cost reduction. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, experience with power management and monitoring systems, and EU national status.
