Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Chief Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety equipment in a data center. The role includes planned preventative maintenance, corrective work, emergency response, root-cause analysis, escalation, project management, vendor coordination, safety oversight, CMMS workflow management, and training of Engineering Operations Technicians. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, experience with power management and monitoring systems, and EU national status.
