Description
HyImpulse is seeking a senior-level Chief Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, development, integration, and qualification of rocket vehicles and subsystems. The role owns vehicle technical architecture and engineering trade-offs, leads major design reviews and risk management, coordinates propulsion, avionics, structures, and manufacturing teams, interfaces with regulators and external partners, and mentors engineers. It requires a bachelor's degree or higher in aerospace, mechanical, systems engineering, or a related field, significant aerospace or defense engineering experience, and deep knowledge of rocket systems. The role may be based in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Germany, or Glasgow, Scotland, with occasional travel to Germany and Shetland facilities.
