Description
The Chief Engineer manages the F‑22 Chief Engineer Office and provides technical leadership across the aircraft’s life cycle and programmatic phases. Responsibilities include ensuring performance and airworthiness requirements are met, overseeing design and trade studies, communicating technical status and risks, serving as the principal technical customer interface, verifying requirements and design robustness, maintaining technical process discipline, resolving complex issues, and leading a cross-functional engineering team. The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, 10 years of professional experience, team-leadership experience, cross-functional experience, and technical problem-solving experience; F‑22 program experience and prior Chief Engineer experience are desired. The full-time position offers a salary range of $182,500 to $338,900 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
