Description
AM General is hiring a Chief Engineer to manage engineering activities across design, development, production, and testing for major vehicle body, armor, and survivability components. The role leads cross-functional product development, project management, technical reviews, risk strategies, validation, and the transition of vehicle systems from concept through prototype, testing, and production. It requires a BSME, BSEE, or equivalent, substantial engineering experience, armor and ballistic testing expertise, GD&T knowledge, security clearance, and the ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment with occasional travel.
