Description
Shield AI is hiring a Chief Engineer to lead the development and deployment of autonomy solutions for unmanned weapon systems. The role serves as the chief authority on system architecture, design, development, risk mitigation, and product quality; leads a team of engineers; defines technical objectives and engineering decisions; and oversees both internal research and development and defense contracts. The position requires a relevant engineering or computer science degree, at least 10 years of autonomy or unmanned weapon systems experience, extensive production and certifiable-environment software experience, and expertise in guidance, navigation, control, robotics, software development, technical requirements, and system architecture. A UK security clearance is preferred.
