Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Two years of direct experience as a Chief Operator.
Five consecutive years working as a valid Refrigeration Operator Class ‘B’.
Direct experience as a Chief Operator in a guarded/attended TSSA regulated refrigeration plant.
Direct experience as a Chief Operator in a guarded/attended TSSA regulated refrigeration plant.
Direct experience as a Chief Operator in a guarded/attended TSSA regulated refrigeration plant.
Preferred Qualifications: Education and experience in energy management.
Ontario Class G driver's license with an acceptable driving abstract.
Ability to organize and prioritize work plans/tasks to achieve divisional goals.
Ability to effectively problem-solve and approach issues operationally and strategically.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Certification in Smart Serve or certification within six months of hire.
Certification in Crisis Intervention Training (such as CPI’s Prepare Training) or certification within six months of hire.
Certification in working at heights with a recognized and reputable industry-specific agency.
Municipal Sector Joint Health & Safety Certification (Parts I & II).
