MANTECH is hiring a Chief Scientist for a hybrid, full-time position in Washington, D.C., with one onsite day and four remote days per week. The role provides executive-level technical leadership and strategic oversight for scientific research, innovation, development, and technology strategies supporting DHS and Department of War acquisition ecosystems. Responsibilities include setting research priorities, overseeing scientific methodologies and data analysis, coordinating with customers and stakeholders, ensuring secure-by-design solutions, and supporting procurement decisions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or a related field, at least 12 years of relevant experience, prototype development experience, DHS acquisition and systems engineering experience, and an active Top Secret clearance. Compensation is projected at $128,800 to $214,500, with health insurance and other benefits available.
