Description
The Chief Structural Engineer, Civil Infrastructure, provides final technical responsibility for complex civil structures such as bridges, tunnels, locks, and quay walls. The role determines design strategies, assumptions, load scenarios, and assessment criteria; leads structural teams; performs calculations and finite-element validations; and represents the discipline with clients and reviewing parties. It requires a higher professional or university degree in civil or structural engineering, extensive civil-structure design and assessment experience, final structural responsibility, knowledge of Eurocodes and Dutch guidelines, and experience with structural analysis software.
