Description
Sitemate is hiring a CTO to lead the engineering delivery system, engineering organization, and engineering operating cadence for its AI and software platforms. The role is hands-on and builder-first, reporting to the CEO and working with the Chief Product Officer, Staff Engineers, Tech Leads, engineering function leads, Operations, GTM, and Marketing. Responsibilities include improving AI-assisted engineering throughput, release engineering, quality, security, and engineering tooling; shaping engineering org design, compensation, hiring, and career tracks; and representing engineering to the executive team and board. The position is based in Melbourne, Australia, with a hybrid arrangement requiring two days in the office, and offers AUD 300,000+ excluding superannuation.
