Description
The CY Program Assistant works directly with children and youth in a Department of Defense child and youth program, developing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining safe indoor and outdoor environments, supervising participants, supporting special-needs children, communicating with parents and employees, documenting development, and assisting with program compliance and accreditation. The role requires applicants to be at least 18, complete required training, pass background and drug tests, provide proof of education, and obtain appropriate immunizations; entry-level candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, while intermediate and target-level candidates have additional experience and credential requirements.
