Description
The CYP Leader provides specialized developmental care and instruction for children and youth from 6 weeks to 18 years, mentors CY Program Assistants, plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities, maintains safe indoor and outdoor environments, supervises participants, communicates with parents and employees, documents developmental progress, and ensures compliance with Department of Defense and accreditation standards. The role requires standardized module training, a CDA or Military School-Age credential, or a relevant two-year degree, plus 12 months of CY-II experience, along with background checks, drug testing, E-Verify, physical, immunization, and security-clearance requirements.
