Description
The Long Beach Community College District is hiring a part-time Child Care Assistant to provide care, guidance, developmentally appropriate learning, and socialization experiences for toddler and preschool-aged children. The role works Monday through Friday from 9:12 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., is based at the Liberal Arts Campus but may support both campuses, and pays $1,548.71 to $1,896.05 monthly. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, 12 semester units in relevant child development coursework, and either 25 days of qualifying experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience, along with required child-care clearances and health documentation.
