The Long Beach Community College District is hiring a part-time Child Care Assistant to provide care, guidance, and developmentally appropriate learning and socialization experiences for toddler and preschool-aged children. The role works Monday through Friday from 9:12 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., primarily at the Liberal Arts Campus with possible support of both campuses, and pays $1,548.71 to $1,896.05 monthly. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, 12 semester units in relevant child development coursework, and qualifying experience or training; the position also requires background clearance, health documentation, and California child-care training.
