The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an experienced childcare education professional for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, supporting children’s learning and behavior, documenting observations and attendance, communicating with parents and guardians, maintaining required childcare records and classroom materials, attending planning meetings, supporting fundraising, and supervising onsite staff. Candidates need an education or human services-related college degree, at least two years of verified childcare experience (2,500 hours), a passion for working with children, and the ability to pass required clearances and maintain training. Compensation is $17.50–$18.50, with YMCA membership and other benefits.
