Description
The CDC Director administers and operates a large early-childhood development center serving children from 6 weeks through 12 years, including emergency and special-needs care, developmental assessments, staff training, parent education, and program operations. The role oversees program quality, budgeting, personnel, compliance with DoD, DoN, military child-care, child-abuse, and USDA requirements, and maintains relationships with families, employees, volunteers, and community organizations. Applicants need either a bachelor's degree in a relevant early-childhood field plus four years of full-time experience with children and/or youth, or a combination of child-related education and at least 24 higher-level semester hours plus four years of full-time experience.
