Description
The Child Development Center Teacher reports to the Child Development Program Director and supports the Assistant Director in providing academic, social-emotional, and developmental services to children from 6 weeks through first grade. Responsibilities include lesson planning, child assessment, individualized educational plans, classroom routines, documentation, parent communication, home visits, and compliance with child-care licensing and safety standards. The role requires a California preschool teacher credential permit or an Early Childhood Education degree with specified coursework, at least one year of child-development teaching experience, computer literacy, and current pediatric first aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
