Positive Development is hiring a part-time Child Development Specialist to work one-on-one with autistic children in home-based or center-based settings. The role coaches children through play, conversation, and shared activities to build communication, social, and daily living skills; documents progress; and collaborates with clinicians and supervisors. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation within a 30–40 minute drive radius, and be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds. The position pays $22–$28 per hour, offers training and mentorship, and provides paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.
