Description
The Child Psychiatrist provides outpatient psychiatric care to children and their families under the clinical direction of the Medical Director and administrative direction of the Chief of Health Services. The role involves using a whole-person care approach for diagnosis and treatment, providing medical direction and support to staff, participating in clinical program planning, and reviewing and approving agency diagnostic evaluations, person-centered plans, and quarterly reviews. The position requires knowledge of culturally competent recovery-based practices, person-centered planning, and a trauma-informed culture of safety.
