Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring an experienced school-year childcare education professional to lead classroom learning and child development programs. The role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, managing classroom behavior with positive reinforcement, observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating with families, maintaining attendance and compliance records, organizing learning materials, supervising on-site staff, and supporting fundraising and volunteer development. The position requires a degree in education or a related human services field, at least two years of verified childcare experience, and completion of required clearances and training.
