The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring an experienced childcare professional for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves creating developmentally appropriate learning experiences, managing children’s behavior through positive reinforcement, communicating with families, maintaining attendance and compliance records, organizing learning materials, and participating in team-planning meetings. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent or enrollment in at least two years of child development coursework, two or more years of verified childcare experience, prior experience with children, and the ability to pass required clearances and complete ongoing training.
