Description
The Salvation Army is hiring a part-time Children and Youth Worker for its White Rock Church and Community Ministries. The role plans, coordinates, facilitates, and evaluates faith-based programs for children and youth, including youth groups, Sunday School, after-school activities, summer day camps, Vacation Bible School, outreach, and anger-management programs. It also recruits and supervises volunteers, manages schedules, registrations, supplies, transportation, budgets, reporting, and health and safety compliance. The position requires at least one year of related experience with children and youth, especially neurodiverse youth, post-secondary education of at least one academic year, program facilitation skills, computer and social media proficiency, and a valid Class 5 driver's licence.
