Description
The Head Start/Early Head Start Program Administrator oversees the Education and Early Childhood Development content area, ensures compliance with performance standards and recognized best practices, and develops and implements family literacy and transition programs. The role requires a relevant bachelor's or advanced degree, experience teaching children from birth through five years, one year of supervisory experience, and knowledge of developmentally appropriate early childhood education. Bilingual English/Spanish and family-centered practice experience are preferred, and First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications must be obtained within 30 days of hire. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, an annual pay range of $60,301.54 to $63,967.80, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
