Description
The Casting Finishing Operator removes excess metal and imperfections from valve body castings using pneumatic chipping tools, grinders, hand tools, borescopes, mirrors, and lights. The role also inspects castings, checks dimensions, marks scrap, documents work, performs equipment safety audits, and changes grinding wheels and chipping bits. The schedule is Monday through Saturday from 06:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with company-provided PPE and steel-toe boots required. Compensation is $18.00 per hour for 90 days and $15.00 per hour plus cell rate thereafter.
