Description
The Physical Therapy Assistant assists patients before and after care, takes vital signs, performs physical therapy modalities, documents patient progress, maintains treatment rooms and equipment, manages supplies, supports office operations, and may travel to other locations for coverage. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, state certification or enrollment in an approved training program, CPR or First Aid certification, one year of office physical therapy or chiropractic experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
