Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring a Circuit Card Design Engineer for its Hardware Engineering team in Orlando, Florida. The role leads supplier technical activities and oversees the full product life cycle of circuit card assemblies, including design development, milestone reviews, acceptance and verification testing, environmental qualification, configuration audits, and production readiness. The engineer will coordinate with production, program, government, and cross-functional teams, resolve supplier issues, and support missile and sensor subsystems. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related STEM field, extensive circuit card design and integration experience, and familiarity with schematic capture, circuit simulation, FPGA/SoC, and requirements management tools. The full-time salary range is $120,600 to $224,000, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university
Required Previous Experiences: Extensive circuit card design, integration, and testing experience across digital, power, analog, and FPGA/SoC domains
Experience developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirements
Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis
Experience interpreting complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance process
Experience with missile system and sensor architectures
Ability to lead and mentor hardware design engineers
Experience with Integrated Master Schedule tasking, status reporting, and Earned Value Management
Experience with FPGA, SoC, and SoM devices from Xilinx/AMD, Intel/Altera, Microsemi/Actel, or equivalent
FPGA design experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL
Experience with rigid-flex circuit card design
Experience with MOSA and WOSA
Experience with CAMEO or equivalent requirements management tools
Understanding of EO/IR imaging processing and high-speed data/memory interfaces
