Description

Lockheed Martin is hiring a Circuit Design Engineering Manager to lead a team supporting the design, production, integration, testing, qualification, and delivery of high-reliability missile and space avionics electronics for the Next Generation Interceptor program. The role manages technical risks, test failures, root-cause corrective actions, MRB/EMRB and FRB proceedings, and communication with program and customer leadership. It requires electronics hardware design and test experience, missile or space hardware experience, project leadership, and at least 8 years of professional experience. The position is full-time, office-based, and requires living near the Waterton or Deer Creek facilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent combined education and experience with specialized training commensurate with the assignment.
Required Previous Experiences: Electronics hardware design, development, and test experience with analog or digital circuitry at the circuit card and unit level.
Experience developing and producing missile, launch vehicle, space, or equivalent high-reliability flight hardware, including resolving build and test issues.
Material Review Board/EMRB and Failure Review Board experience, including failure investigation and root cause analysis, or equivalent Certified Principal Engineer, Responsible Engineer, or Responsible Systems Integration engineering experience.
At least 8 years of professional experience.
Project or program leadership experience in electronics hardware development and production.
Experience developing missile, space, or equivalent high-reliability applications with product ownership responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications: Aerospace experience supporting flight hardware development.
Experience with avionics architecture, both physical and functional.
Understanding of analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics.
Experience with test and measurement equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Certified Principal Engineer, Responsible Engineer, or Responsible Systems Engineer experience.
Experience providing supply chain technical oversight, including proposal support and technical evaluations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in AI prompting as it applies to the position.
