Description
Harris County is hiring a full-time Civil CAD Designer to support roadway and park design and construction projects. The role produces conceptual, preliminary, and final civil construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading, alignments, profiles, surfaces, corridors, pipe networks, plan views, cross-sections, and volume calculations. The designer will also revise existing drawings, collaborate with the design team, assist with CAD troubleshooting, and support training of APMs and interns. The position requires an associate or equivalent technical degree or certificate, 10+ years of civil drafting experience with Civil3D, and a valid Texas driver's license; it is office-based with possible field work and may require emergency deployment.
