Description
AECOM is hiring a Civil Engineer to design airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, drainage, utilities, and airfield systems. The role covers engineering calculations, reports, drawings, technical specifications, site inspections, asset condition surveys, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle. Applicants need a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, knowledge of DMRB or highway civil engineering design, and an interest in developing a career in aviation infrastructure; prior aviation experience is welcome but not essential. The position offers hybrid working and is based in AECOM offices in Basingstoke, Croydon, Manchester, Birmingham, or London.
