Description
HDR is hiring a Civil Engineer in Michigan to lead civil and site engineering design and plan production for commercial, industrial, waste, municipal, federal, power, and data center projects. The role covers site planning and layout, utility coordination and design, grading and drainage, stormwater and erosion control, permitting, construction documentation and administration, and technical reviews. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with agencies and clients, prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports, and may serve as Engineer of Record, Project Manager, or Task Manager while mentoring junior staff. A bachelor's degree, professional engineering license, civil engineering experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency are required; six years of professional experience and four years of site civil/land development experience are preferred.
