Description
The employer is hiring a Licensed Civil Engineer to lead engineering and technical disciplines for civil design projects from conception through completion. The role manages project schedules, resources, quality, budgets, and compliance; oversees and mentors an Assistant Engineer and Civil Design Technician; and coordinates with project engineers, project coordinators, clients, and municipal, state, and federal entities. Responsibilities include grading, drainage, water retention, retaining walls, sewer and wastewater, road and transportation, site layout, utilities, hydrology, hydraulics, site investigations, and regulatory approvals. The position requires a current engineer license, a BS or MA in Civil Engineering or a relevant field, and at least five years of relevant Civil 3D or CAD design experience, with project-engineering experience strongly preferred.
