Description
The Civil Engineer will report to the Manager, Asset Management BC and serve as project manager for selected civil and dam safety projects while administering and overseeing British Columbia’s Dam Safety Program. The role is based in Powell River, British Columbia, and includes dam safety compliance, inspections, permitting, project delivery, budget and risk management, consultant oversight, contract administration, and HSS&E leadership. Candidates must be members of a Canadian civil engineering association, have industrial or hydroelectric project management and dam safety experience, and demonstrate technical knowledge of dams, hydraulic structures, and power generation.
