Description
The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, construction, permitting, and technical coordination of District facilities and site improvements, including school projects. The role provides technical direction to architects and consulting engineers, reviews civil engineering documents, manages professional-service contracts, develops engineering standards, resolves construction issues, and provides professional certification of designs. It requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, at least eight years of full-time professional civil design experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and a California Professional Engineer license; the stated salary range is $135,000–$155,000.
