Description
Thomas & Hutton is hiring a Civil Designer I to perform defined portions of civil engineering assignments under the close supervision of licensed engineers and senior designers. The role develops AutoCAD Civil 3D and related CADD skills through mentored, project-based work on land-development projects, including drafting, construction plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, permit applications, basic computations, data organization, and field observation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology, EIT/EI certification or the ability to obtain it within six months, basic AutoCAD knowledge, and strong communication and attention to detail. It is an on-site Monday–Thursday and Friday schedule with health, dental, vision, prescription, retirement, paid time off, holidays, and tuition assistance benefits; sponsorship is not available.
