Assystem is hiring a six-month Civil Engineering Intern to study nonlinear analysis methods for nuclear civil engineering structures, review seismic and soil-structure interaction methods, develop and validate a push-over calculation tool, benchmark it against other models and linear analyses, and propose a methodology suited to nuclear engineering projects. The intern should be enrolled in an engineering school or specialized civil engineering master's program and have knowledge of finite element structural analysis, structural dynamics, soil-structure interaction, and seismic analysis, with Ansys, Code_Aster, or Python proficiency preferred.
