Elia Grid International is hiring a full-time Civil Engineer for Owner's Engineering on offshore and/or cable projects. The role focuses on civil requirements for HVDC converter stations and cable systems, site and cable-route feasibility, tendering, contract control, and technical and economic alternatives for green-field transmission projects. The engineer will report to a senior project engineer, work remotely with an option to work from Berlin, and travel to project sites and meetings as needed. A civil engineering degree, several years of relevant infrastructure experience, knowledge of HV transmission civil works, German and English fluency, and experience with HOAI project implementation are required.
