Description
The role designs challenging bridges and civil engineering structures, supports them through tendering and contract award, assesses planning constraints, conducts variant studies, performs structural calculations, plans construction, determines costs, and supports rehabilitation and new construction projects. It requires a completed civil engineering degree, knowledge of structural analysis, concrete and steel construction, and geotechnical engineering, and at least five years of professional experience as a building and structural designer in civil engineering, particularly road bridges. The position offers permanent employment, flexible working hours, working from home, and performance-based pay of 39 hours per week.
