Description
The City of Ann Arbor is hiring a Civil Engineering Construction Inspector to inspect civil engineering construction projects involving roads, sidewalks, bike paths, bridges, buildings, structures, sewers, water mains, landfills, and environmental projects. The role includes plan review, ordinance enforcement, traffic control, drafting, records and data management, surveying, and basic design. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of progressive construction inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and completion of required safety training. Starting pay is $28.44 per hour, with medical, vision, dental, paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday leave benefits.
