Description
The role is a civil-engineering estimating specialist for a specialized construction company working on pipeline construction, horizontal directional drilling, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, reviewing tender documents and bills of quantities, determining material and subcontractor costs, developing tender concepts, evaluating supplier offers, assessing project risks, supporting change orders and claims, and contributing to contract negotiations. The position requires relevant construction or civil-engineering education, professional estimating experience, knowledge of German and English, and familiarity with estimating software and MS Office.
