TKDA is hiring a summer Civil Engineering Intern in Bloomington, Minnesota, to work with civil engineers, planners, and technicians on projects involving general aviation airports, international hub airports, and military bases. The intern will prepare Civil 3D and AutoCAD drawings, perform dimension and elevation calculations, compute quantities, assist with preliminary site assessments, and conduct construction administration, inspections, and observations. The role requires an undergraduate pursuing a civil engineering degree with a transportation emphasis, AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience, outdoor site work, a valid driver’s license, and availability for approximately 40 hours per week from mid-May through mid-August 2026, with occasional overtime and primarily office or project-site work.
