Description
TKDA is hiring a summer civil-engineering intern in Bloomington, Minnesota, to assist with highway, railroad, pedestrian, and retaining-wall bridge design, as well as the production of final plans, specifications, and cost estimates. The intern would work alongside professional engineers and technicians on transportation infrastructure projects, primarily from the company office or an assigned project site, with possible flexible or hybrid arrangements. The internship is intended for an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an interest in bridges, requires prior or formal training with Microstation, MathCAD, STAAD, or Geopak, and includes formal software training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
