TKDA is seeking a summer Civil Engineering Intern for its Facilities Engineering team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The intern will work with civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural professionals on industrial, government, education, and mining facilities projects, learning the project life cycle from conception through construction. Responsibilities include steel, cast-in-place concrete, and precast concrete design; developing structural models, floor plans, details, and construction documentation with AutoCAD and Revit; and occasionally assisting with site assessments or construction administration. The internship is intended for an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis, requires local travel and a valid driver’s license, and is scheduled for mid-May through mid-August 2025.
