Description
McElhanney is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern in Calgary to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams on infrastructure construction projects from design through construction. The intern will conduct field inspections, liaise with contractors, support schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety, and gain exposure to materials testing, construction management, municipal infrastructure, transportation, water resources, geotechnical, bridge, and structural engineering. The role requires enrollment in a Civil Engineering diploma or degree program, willingness to work onsite and in varied or remote conditions, and availability for 8-month terms starting in Summer 2027 or after graduation; 4-month terms may also be considered. The wage range is $23–$32 per hour, with mentorship, scholarship, education support, and other benefits.
