TÜV Thüringen Industrial Service is hiring an Engineer Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering as an Expert to accompany experienced inspectors during training, then independently inspect and assess temporary structures and related systems across their life cycle. The role includes reviewing structural and component calculations, developing test reports and expert opinions, and supporting complex cross-disciplinary inspections. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, preferably prior engineering experience, knowledge of steel construction and structural analysis software, a Class B driver’s license, own car, willingness to travel nationally and internationally, and the ability to work at heights.
