Evergy is hiring a Civil-Structural Engineer to support power generation facilities in Kansas City, Missouri, and Topeka, Kansas. The role performs structural analysis, design, detailing, inspections, assessments, foundation and platform design, civil and hydrology reviews, and project management for facility improvements and capital projects. It requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, demonstrable design experience, relevant engineering knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with a Kansas or Missouri Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain it through comity. The position involves extensive on-site plant work, occasional travel, and flexible scheduling with possible overtime.
