SOCOTEC is hiring a full-time Civil/Structural Designer to support transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, roadway improvements, and related infrastructure. The role involves structural design and analysis, construction plans and calculations, shop drawing reviews, existing-structure evaluation, roadway and traffic-control support, multidisciplinary coordination, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least four years of relevant structural or bridge-design experience, an EIT or Pennsylvania PE license or ability to obtain one, CADD software knowledge, structural-analysis experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and familiarity with engineering drawings and design standards.
